There is Light!

Good morning, Readers!

I am not well today (for those reading on my regular blog, this was written and uploaded early for the folks on my Ko-Fi. If you want early access to blog posts, videos (whenever I get to making those), exclusive news and other goodies, feel free to sign up. It's CAD$1.00 a month). My lungs are having a time trying to draw in air, everything tastes like my lungs are very full, and my nose is extremely stuffed. It happened rather suddenly, and I'm hoping that it'll go as swiftly as it came. Knock on wood.

I am still juggling a lot of stuff right now, so some balls have been dropped longer than I'd like. But I'm slowly crawling my way through. I will hopefully have everything done by the end of the month, and can get back to my usual routine starting February.

This includes streaming. I've not streamed since before Xmas. I had intended to being in the first week of January, but thanks to a pretty bad case of Covid, I was laid out for two weeks and didn't get any of the stuff done that I wanted to (hence my being so busy this month). Since that was the case, I've had to put aside my streaming for the entire month.

I've missed it so much, and so I will be streaming starting February 7th (the first Friday of the month), regardless of where I am in other areas. My apologies for those who looked forward to our regular Friday hangouts. They will be starting again soon. I just have to get a chunk of other stuff done first.

Also things I'll begin doing again starting in February - writing. I have to finish the final book of the trilogy I'm writing (no, it's not done yet. See afore mention of illness), and then get started on The Bear, which will be the new free serial to go up. It's a love story. Because I have been watching a lot of dramas, and they're a bad (good?) influence.

Painting will also resume. I have two more watercolours to complete for the Kofi member exclusive edition of The Dying God & Other Stories, which will be fun to finally put together. Then I have to fix up The New Haven Incident, which is being retitled to The Timbercreek Incident, to prep it for publication. It's going to be available in physical formats at the end of 2026.

There's a lot to be getting on with when I'm finally caught up. And it feels very overwhelming. But, with some of the work behind me, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just have to keep walking towards it.

And, one day, if I'm very lucky, all this work will mean that I can let go of some of these spinning plates entirely (looking at you, rat race), and then everything will be much less overwhelming!

Right, I have to get back to work, and I'm sure you do, too.

Slán go foill!
